The three star Fortuna Boat Hotel is anchored on the Pest side of the Danube, in the vicinity of the Margaret Bridge, opposite the Margaret Island. The St. Stephen’s park decorated with flowers, fountains is a perfect place for a pleasant walk and is situated only a 1 minute walk from the hotel. Comfortable rooms, high-quality service, beautiful panorama and central situation offer advantages for the travellers during their stay in Budapest.

The ship built in 1967 is 78 meters long, 15 meters wide and it was completely reconstructed in 2000, when the cabins were enlarged and an English pub was created in the place of the former engine room. The reception, the exclusive Lord Nelson restaurant, the Szirén conference room and the traditional meeting room, the Nelson can be found on the main deck.

ATTENTION: Non-smoking accommodation! The whole area of the Fortuna Boat Hotel is non-smoking!
Accomodation: There are 12 air-conditioned rooms equipped with bathroom with shower, TV, minibar, telephone, on the main deck. Further 32 rooms were built on the higher deck which is actually the hotel floor. Their equipment is the same as the rooms on the main deck and they have one double bed, 2 separate beds. The pride of the ship is the 4 spacious, superior apart rooms with beautiful view. All our rooms are named after 1-1 famous sailor or pirate.

There is a hostel for young people on the bottom floor of the boat, where there are rooms together with 29 beds (3 single, 7 double and 4 triple rooms). To these hostel rooms belong pubblic shower facilities. There are 3 shower rooms and a WC in every block, and there are 2-2 women and men section. The prices of these rooms don’t include the breakfast. On demand it is possibile to have buffet breakfast for extra charge.

Hospitality: The Lord Nelson restaurant where we offer the buffet breakfast for our guests, can be ideale scene for business lunch and intimate dinners in the other part of the day. The Francis Drake Pub is suitable for those who like the easy entertainment, while our coffé is the home of silent chats and snacks.

Relaxation, recreation: The nearby Margaret Island offers perfect possibility for sport and relaxation after the bustle of the downtown, where swimming pool, tennis court, bicycle rental, running track are available, but you can play badminton, football or walk on the large meadows. Our guests can rest also on the sunbathing terrace while they can enjoy the unique panorama. We offer refreshing cocktails in the bar situated on the terrace during the hot summer days.

Event possibilities: We offer our Szirén room for big events, conferences, trainings, presentations, press conferences, receptions, banquets, which has natural lighting and its furniture can be moved or changed easily. The Nelson saloon furnished with leather suite, can be ideal scene for smaller conferences. The special tables and furnitures complete nicely the English pub like nature of the Francis Drake room. The round portholes provide the neccesary twilight for the atmosphere. Our rooms are lit by natural light and all of them are air-conditioned.

Parking: Our guests who arrive by car can use the free parking place in front of the riverside of the boat.

Children reductions:

- Under 4 years in the parents' room the accomodation with breakfast is free of charge. Babycot upon request.
- 4-12 years we give 50% discount from the price of the extra bed.
- Children over the age of 12 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- After the reservation the hotel ask 30% deposit as a guarantee wich is non refundable.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 3 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (Easter, Whitsun, Formula 1 GP, New Year’s, etc.).
