Fried Castle Hotel**** and Restaurant - Simontornya

The four-star Fried Castle Hotel is situated in Simontornya, between Lake Balaton and River Danube in Tolna county. The hotel has won the title of “The most beautiful hotel of Hungary” in 2010 according to our guests’ votes. The Art Nouveau castle welcomes the guests in a beautiful French park with a babbling spring and a dolphin-form fountain, surrounded by vineyard hills, wine cellars and forests.

Accommodation: „Three building, three atmospheres” - Castle, Lily wing, Hunting Lodge.
Castle - the romantic: One of the specialities of the Art Nouveau style hotel built in the 1920 years is its unique handmade mahogany and rosewood furniture. The wooden stair leading from the hall to the superior floor is decorated by dragon symbols. There are two carved throne chairs in the elegant lounge located on this superior floor. The rooms have French wooden ceiling and oak tree parquet.

15 double and triple rooms and wedding suite await the guests in the Castle building. They are equipped with air-conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe, towel, TV, minibar, telephone, safe, and free Wi-Fi internet connection. On previous request we can provide cot and a smoking or a non-smoking room. The balcony of the rooms has an amazing view over the nearby wine yards and you can enjoy your cigar or your cocktail in a pleasant environment.

Lily wing - the elegant: The floor of the 21 rooms arranged with elegant and modern furniture is covered by anti-allergic bamboo parquet. Due to the modern wall heating-cooling technique of the rooms the dry eye syndrome and other unpleasant effects of the air inflating don’t appear. The rooms located on the first and second floor have also a balcony. Children can play in the own playing corner of the family rooms or in the playing room of the building.

The honeymoon couples can also enjoy the little pleasures of the wellness as the bathroom has an own Jacuzzi where they can drink champagne or cocktails. The panorama window has a spectacular view over the French park which surrounds the castle and it is also the entrance to the terrace.

Hunting Lodge - the familiar: The Hunting Lodge stands on a hill located next to the hotel. It awaits the guests with 4 standard rooms arranged in classical style and 1 family apartment. You can relax with your friend or have a drink in the Trophy hall located on the superior floor which is also a smoking area.

During your travel you don’t have to leave your pet (small dog, cat, etc.) at home. They are welcome in the hotel’s rooms at a charge of pet supplement. Please indicate when you arrive with your pet.

Dining: We serve traditional Hungarian dishes and international specialties in our first class, a'la carte, and 80-person restaurant but on request we can provide also half-board with menu. In case of good weather you can enjoy the selected delicacies on our terrace surrounded by trees. The separate halls of the hotel make also possible to organize family and business events. The Ball Hall located in the Lily wing is also suitable to host 200 people. You can taste the traditional castle wines and brandies in our wine cellar then you can even buy them in our wine shop. On request garden cooking and grill facilities are provided on the Panorama Wine Terrace.

Wellness, recreation: The newly built wellness-fitness center located in the Lily wing offers the following services: indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi with hot water, fitness room, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam cabin, aroma tepidarium, tropical experience shower, massage and therapeutic rooms and treatments, hairdresser salon, beauty salon. In summer an outdoor swimming pool, garden Jacuzzis and a panorama terrace are also available.

Program facilities: Bike and walking treks, archery, wooden playground, beach volley, football, billiard, table football, ping pong, horse carriage tour, hunting, angling and traditional pig-slaughter. An outdoor playground and animal stoker awaits the little ones.

Event facilities: The ball hall (built-in projector, interactive board and other technical equipments) is located in the Lily wing and it can host 200 people. It can be ideal venue of conferences, company and family events and weddings together with its large terrace. Other conference halls: the 20-people Trophy and the 60-people Karolina.

Parking: Our guests can use the parking lot of the hotel for free of charge.
