The four star Hotel Claudius can be found a few minutes walk from the historic downtown of Szombathely. The largest hotel of the city is situated in a green belt, on the shore of the boating lake, in the vicinity of the covered pool and the thermal and experience bath.

Accomodation: In the hotel 87 double rooms and 10 apartments wait for the guests. Every room are air-conditioned and equipped with bathroom with tube, hairdryer, television, telephone and minibar. The rooms on the 4th floor have also wired internet connection possibility. The furniture of our biorooms is anti-allergenic. In our 3 business apartments one living room, called also study can be found beside the bedroom. Our three family apartments have two bedrooms, two bathrooms. To the VIP apartments with two bedroom, two bathroom belongs also an exlusive furnished living room. We built two rooms for our disabled guests with bathrooms according to the special demands.

Hospitality: You can taste the flavours of the Roman Empire beside the gastronomy masterpieces of the Hungarian and international cuisine in the Bacchus restaurant with the capacity of 220 persons of the hotel, decorated with ancient roman motives.

Relaxation, recreation: Different massages, fitness room with modern equipment, sauna, bubble bath (jacuzzi) and sunbathing terrace wait for our guests. A few minutes walk from the hotel in the experience bath five pools, huge slides, giant chess, footvolley, beach volley, basketball, playground for children provide recreation possibility.

Event possibilities: The air-conditioned conference rooms Mercutius (200 persons), Diana (20 persons), Maximus (20 persons), and Optimus (35 persons) of the hotel can be ideale places for smaller conferences, trainings, bigger conferences and other company and family reunions.

Parking: Our guest arriving by car can use the free parking place in front of the hotel.

The given prices include the buffet breakfast and the use of the WiFi internet, fitness room, sauna, jacuzzi and the parking place. The local tourist tax is 420,- HUF/person/night and has to be paid by guets from the age of 18.

Children reductions:

- Under 6 years in the parents' bed the accomodation with breakfast is free of charge.
- Children over the age of 6 or on extra bed pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 3 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (15. March, Easter, 1. May, Whitsun, 20. Aug, 23. Oct, All saint's day, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.).
