The four star Hotel Kapitány Wellness (Hotel Captain) is situated at the foot of the Hill of the Sümeg Castle which was built more than 700 years ago. The beautiful environment of the hotel helps to look back into the Medieval atmosphere. The nice rooms of the wellness hotel, the bath, the restaurant reflect the luxury services.

Accomodation: There are 160 standard, superior and castle panoramic rooms and suites in the hotel. They are equipped with air-conditioning, bathroom, hairdryer, bathrobe, minibar, TV, telefon, WiFi internet connection possibility. In the bigger 32-36 sqm superior rooms there is also a suite of furniture to have a rest. Our connecting rooms provide ideal accomodation for families. From much of the balconies of the rooms you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Sümeg Castle. On previous request we can reserve non-smoking rooms for you.

Food & beverage: We await our guests with buffet breakfast and dinner in our "Szent László Lovagkirály" restaurant with the capacity of 150 persons. During the day and in the evening you can choose form the a'la carte menu in our restaurant reminiscent of the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Beside the typical Hungarian and international flavours you can find diet, reform and vegetarian dishes too. Cafe, pool bar and beer garden await our guests apart from the restaurant. The nearby "Vásárcsárda" (old road-house) awaits those who wish to taste the traditional Hungarian and local food specialities. In summer you can dine in the shadow of nut trees, in winter you can enjoy your meals next to a stove with the fellowship of good Hungarian wines.

Wellness, relaxation, recreation: In the wellness and spa center of the hotel the following services can be found: swimming pool, wellness pool with adventure elements, 60 cm depth children pool, sparkling bath (jacuzzi), outdoor pool during the summer months (May-October), infra and Finnish sauna, steam bath, aroma cabin, massage, beauty treatment and fitness machines.

Event possibilities: The 4 air-conditioned and connecting conference rooms are suitable to receive 25-250 persons. The nearby restaurant (Várcsárda) and the Knight’s hall for 400 persons are ideal scenes for conferences, trainings and other events. We offer the following additional programs to the complementary of the meetings: historical equestrian games, mediaeval feasts, grill parties, wine tasting, picnic, the artillery attack against he Castle of Sümeg.
