The Hotel Karos Spa**** Superior is situated only a 400 meters from the center of Zalakaros, opposite the city thermal bath (Gránit Thermal and Experience Bath). The wellness and health spa hotel satisfy all demands of the luxury and comfort.
Accomodation: 221 double room and the luxury suites await the guests in the main building of the hotel. The Karos Aparthotel wing which is connected with an underground corridor to the main building, has 102 apart rooms and 10 two-bedroom apartments. All of the rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with bathroom with shower or tub, WC and bide, hairdryer, safe, telephone, TV, minibar, internet connection possibility.
- Spa Superior double room: This is the bascic room type. They have eastern or western aspects and they can be non-smoking or smoking. We offer special rooms for disabled people, anti-allergenic and connecting with double doors. Room capacity: maximum 2 adults + 1 baby in a cot.
- Spa Superior apart room: They consist of a bedroom with double bed and a living room with sofa (extra bed for 2 children). There is a shower cabin and also a bathtub in the bathrooms. The speciality of the bathroom is that the water of the own thermal well of the hotel flow into the bathtub. Room capacity: 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.
- Spa Superior family room: They can be found in the main building of hotel complex and consist of a bedroom with double bed, a living room with a fold out sofa and a double bed, a bathroom and a small hall. To the family rooms belongs also a balcony. Room capacity: maximum 4 adults and 2 children.
- Spa Superior baby apart room: In the Apart Hotel wing there is also 10 baby apartments where you can find everything from baby dresser through baby tub to feeding-bottle heater (cot with bed linen, pot, play carpet) which serve the comfort for the baby and the mum.
- Spa Senior suite: The exclusive balcony suites of the hotel offer luxury environment. They consist of a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a fold out sofa, a bathroom with corner tub and a separate shower cabin. Room capacity: maximum 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.
ATTENTION! Unfortunately Hotel Karos Spa doesn't let pets (dog, cat etc.) in.
Dining: The gastronomy section of the hotel awaits its guests with wide range of selection of Hungarian and international dishes and drinks, diet cuisine, intimate cafe - in the evenings with live music -, bar, grill garden.
Spa, wellness, sport:
- World of pool: The 7 pools of the hotel await the guests with a water surface of 1.000 sqm. Indoor pools: swimming pool (29ºC), experience bath (33ºC), sparkling bath (34ºC), children’s pool (33ºC), thermal pool (37ºC). Ourdoor pools: swimming pool (in summer 27-28ºC, in winter max. 25ºC), experience pool from spring to autumn (32-33ºC). Opening hours: Monday-Sunday: 7:00 – 20:00.
- „Alma” spa-wellness world: We offer diverse wellness, fitness, medicinal and spa services on 4.000 sqm. Alternative massage therapies, special bath massage, sport massage, cosmetical face and body treatments, thalasso therapy, balneo-estetical baths, solarium, manicure, hairdresser’s salon, fitness room, table tennis, bicycle. Opening hours: Monday-Saturday: 8:00 – 18:00, Sunday: 8:00 –14:00.
Children’s nook: colour toys, well-trained nursery school teacher and baby-sitter await the little ones in the childrens’ nook of the wellness section. While your children abandon themself to playing, you can swim, use sauna or pamper yourself with a massage or other treatments.
Other services: Animation programs, playing room, playground, children’s menu, high chair, cot, children bicycle.
Event possibilities: The conference rooms of the hotel are perfectly suitable to organize meetings, team buildings, receptions, trainings and conferences. The Gala room (300 persons) can be diveded in two parts with mobile walls, the section rooms (the Golden, Jonathan and Starking) have a capacity of 15-20 persons and separate terrace.
Parking: The own parking place and garage of the hotel are available for the guests who arrive by car.
