Hotel Korona is located in one of the most peaceful parts of the city center of Eger, in the vicinity of a pedestrian zone. Our guests can choose between the three-star older wing and the newly-built four-star wing with the same services.

ATTENTION! All rooms are non-smoking. Pets (dog, cat, stb) are allowed only in the 3 star rooms.
Accommodation: In the 3 star wing of the hotel we can accomodate together 88 persons in the 39 double rooms of which 9 can be added an extra bed. In the 4 star building you can find 14 rooms and apartments equipped will all conveniences.

3* superior double room: Every room is air-conditioned and equipped with bathroom, Tv, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, radio.
4* superior double room: Air-conditioned and equipped with the most modern sound, heat and air technology. It is equipped with bathroom, minibar, telephone, Tv,bathrobe, internet connection, safe.
4* suite: The air-conditioned suites consist of a living room and a bedroom. They are equipped with quality furniture, bathroom with massage shower, minibar, telephone, Tv, bathrobe, internet connection, safe.

Gastronomy: The flavours of the Hungarian cuisine are coupled with healthy diet and international standards. To the restaurant belongs an inner courtyard, a terrace and an garden kitchen that make the spent time here more memorable. You can find the István Cellar-National Wine Museum in the basement under the hotel. We organise unforgettable wine-tasting events, dinners, wine gastronomy presentations paying attention on harmonizing the meals and wines.

Relaxation, recreation: You can find a swimming pool (16 meters long, deepening, 29°C), sauna, bubble bath (33°C), pool bar, sunbathing terrace, fitness room and massage in the wellness area of the hotel.

Event facilities: You can find two large-size plenary rooms and more smaller section rooms from 8 up to 180 persons in the hotel. The halls are equipped with the most modern technical devices.

The given prices in the table include the buffet breakfast, the use of the wellness area, bathrobe and playground and play room, a guided visit to the National Wine Museum and István Cellar, the use of the.

The local tourist tax is 360,- HUF/person/night and has to be paid by guets from the age of 18. The use of the closed parking place costs 1.000,- HUF/car/day. The extra charge for pets (dog, cat, etc) is 5.000,- HUF/day in the 3* wing.

* Holiday periods: During long weekend, public holiday periods only our special package offers are valid (Valentine's day, 15. March, Easter, 1. May, Whitsun, 20. Aug, 23. Oct, All saint's day, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.).

Children reductions:

- Under 6 years in the parents' room the accomodation without asking extra bed is free of charge. Babycot upon request. 4-6 years the breakfast costs 3 €/child/occasion.
- 6-12 years the extra bed price is valid and we give 50% discount from the price of the main meals.
- Children over the age of 12 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 2 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (15. March, Easter, 1. May, Whitsun, 20. Aug, 23. Oct, All saint's day, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.).
