The four-star Hotel Normafa built in alpine style, is situated in the green belt area of the Buda side of the capital city, on the top of the Sváb-hegy (kraut hill), in a beautiful environment with clear air. The mountaintop covered by forest is one of the favourite beauty spots of Budapest. You can take a pleasant walk to the nearby Chair lift (Libegő) and to the János hill lookout tower from where there is a beautiful view over the city.

Accomodation: The windows of the 46 rooms and 16 apartments of the hotel look onto our nice garden with trees. The rooms are equipped with bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, telephone, WiFi internet, TV, minibar, safe, tea and coffee making facility. On request non smoking rooms are also available.

Dining: Normafa Grill is one of the most popular restaurants with its rich offer of dishes and drinks in the surrounding area. In summer the silent atmosphere of the garden surrounded by huge chestnut trees, in winter the familiarity of the candlelight and fireplace complete the gastronomy excursion. The elegant Pergola Café awaits its guests with the delicacies of the Hungarian and international cuisine, draft beer, quality wines, wide range of teas and pleasant live music.

Relaxation, recreation: The following sport and wellness facilities await the guests who wish for active rest: a heated swimming pool of 17 meters and children's pool in the garden (open: 1. May - 30. September), fitness room, infrared and Finnish saunas, steam bath, solarium, qualified masseurs, forest run court, in summer bicycle rental, in winter sledge rental, beach volleyball, sand football court, table tennis and badminton.

Event facilities: The 7 banquet rooms which have natural light and the Club room with intimate atmosphere are perfectly suitable to organize different events, banquets, weddings and conferences. The capacity of the rooms extend from 6 to 150 persons.

Parking: Both cars and buses can use our own parking place closed with barrier.

The given prices in the table include the buffet breakfast, the use of the fitness and wellness section (outdoor pool in summer, fitness room , sauna and steam cabin), the closed parking place and all taxes.

Children reductions:

- Under 7 years in the parents' room the accomodation with breakfast is free of charge. Babycot upon request.
- 7-12 years the accomodation with breakfast costs 6 €/child/night.
- Children over the age of 12 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 2 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (Easter, Whitsun, Formula 1 GP, New Year’s, etc.).
