The three-star Hotel Papillon is situated on the Buda side of the Danube, a few steps from the city center, in one of the greenest and quietest part of Budapest. One hundred years ago there used to be only rose plantations on this part of the capital city, that’s why it’s got the Rose Hill (Rózsadomb) name. The Buda Castle which takes part of the World Heritage, the bank of the Danube, the Houses of Parliament (famous tourist sight) and numerous bathes are accessible by only a 10-15 minutes walk. From the roof terrace of the hotel and the terrace of the panorama apartment there is a beautiful view over the city.

ATTENTION! Hotel Papillon is a non-smoking accomodation. Smoking is forbidden in all rooms and in the pubblic areas too.

Accomodation: 30 rooms and 2 apartments await the guests (3 single, 20 double, 4 triple and 3 quadruple rooms) in our hotel with family atmosphere. Our rooms are equipped with bathroom, TV, telephone, fridge and minibar and the superior rooms are air-conditioned. Our two-room apartments,which can accomodate up to 5 persons, are equipped with an American kitchen (meeting all demands) , bathroom with shower, hairdryer, TV, fridge and microwave oven.

Dining: Our restaurant which offers particulary home-made dishes, awaits its visitors with own specialities besides the offer of the local and international cuisine. Our guests can require also half board which includes also a 3 course meal. During the day you can consume alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments, coffe specialities and teas in the drinkbar next to the restaurant or in case of good weather in the garden of the hotel.

Relaxation, recreation: In our garden open grill facility , outdoor pool, sunbeds make the days spent here more pleasant.

Parking: On previous request you can park your car in the garage of the hotel (10 Euro/day) or on the street in front of the building - weekdays from 8 to 18 hours with paying parking ticket - or in a nearby closed parking lot.

The given price includes the buffet breakfast. The local tourist tax is plus 400,- HUF/person/night and should be paid by guets from the age of 18.

Children reductions:

- Under 6 years in the parents' room the accomodation on extra bed and the breakfast are free of charge.
- 6-14 years we give 30% discount.
- Children over the age of 14 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 2 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (Easter, Whitsun, Formula 1 GP, New Year’s, etc.).
