The three-star Hotel Szőnyi is situated in one of the residential zones of Budapest, in Zugló, only 15-20 minutes by means of public transport from the downtown. The BVSC Sport Swimming pool, the Széchényi Spa, the Heroes’ Square, the Amusement Park, the Zoo and Városliget lake are located in the neighbourhood of the hotel.

ATTENTION! All of the rooms and apartments of the hotel are non-smoking!
Accommodation: The hotel awaits its guests with 42 air-conditioned rooms on two floors. The rooms are equipped with bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, TV, safe, mini bar and WiFi and ADSL internet connection and their pavement is covered by anti-allergen carpet. The boxspring beds and quality furniture provide the convenience of our guests. You can find a double bed in the bedroom and an unfoldable sofa in the living area of our family rooms with two air spaces, so 2 adults + 2 children can be also accommodated comfortably. Our three-room apartments can host 5 persons. Our double and family rooms have double bed and optional extra bed, the last one is only suitable for children. The hotel can provide accommodation for 100 persons at the same time.

Wellness, relaxation, recreation: In the wellness department of the hotel Jacuzzi (9,6 mq), Finnish sauna, salt chamber and solarium are at the guests disposal and they are included in the room price.

Gastronomy: Our air-conditioned restaurant awaits the guests with traditional Hungarian flavours and international gastronomy masterpieces. You can also find dishes made of fish, poultry, pork, sheep or beef besides the wide range of soups. Our dessert offer consists of the famous Somlói Galuska, different ice cream cups and pancakes. We offer delicious Hungarian wines, Perté Italian coffee and original Plisner Urquell drought beer. Our section room is also suitable to organize business lunches and dinners. In case of good weather from spring to summer you can consume the selected dishes in our garden.

Event facilities: Our halls are suitable for organizing family and company events, trainings, presentations and meetings. There are four halls together with the restaurant- of which 3 are air-conditioned- and a garden available. Our two conference halls can host 40 and 50 persons in theatre style, and our meeting room offers places for maximum 8-10 persons.

Parking: There is a free parking place for cars and buses on the closed courtyard of the hotel.

Children reductions:

- Under 3 years in the parents' room the accomodation with breakfast is free. Babycot upon request.
- 3-18 years we give 2 €uro/night discount.
- Children over the age of 18 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 2 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room should be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (Easter, Whitsun, Formula 1 GP, New Year’s, etc.).
