The 4-star Hotel Wollner is a romantic, baroque hotel with its inner courtyard, hanging garden, old wine cellar, elegant inner spaces and period furnitures. The hotel is an authentic reconstruction of a 300-year old building. In summer we serve the breakfast and the lunch in the shady baroque style inner courtyard. During the day our guests can relax under the sun umbrellas, in the evening they can enjoy their meals at the tables with candle light while they can listen to the pleasant live music.

ATTENTION! The Wollner Hotel is a non-smoking accommodation! Smoking is forbidden in the rooms and in the public areas too. Animals (cat, dog, etc.) aren’t accepted in the hotel!

Accommodation: The hotel has 14 double rooms and 4 apartment-type triple room. They are furnished in the style of the XIX. century. They are equipped with bathroom with bath or shower, hairdryer, TV, telephone, free cabel and WiFi internet connection, minibar, wall to wall carpet.

In the public areas, on the terrace and in the garden you can use the WiFi internet.

Dining: In our domed elegant Barokk restaurant we can seat 40 persons. European and local Hungarian specialities feature our menu. In our 300 years old romantic wine cellar (up to 55 persons) we offer the best wines of the Sopron and the Tokaj region with the complete selection of the restaurant. In the summer months you can have your dishes in the shady inner courtyard of the hotel. Our guests can enjoy themselves under sun umbrellas during the day and in the evening at the tables with candle light, while they can listen to the pleasant live music.

Relaxation, recreation: The fitness room is equipped with Finnish sauna, shower cabin, multifunctional conditioning machines and magnetic elliptical bikes. On previous request masseur is also at the guests’ disposal.

The hotel has a unique hanging garden in which the ruins of the medieval town walls can be seen. Our guests can enjoy its pleasant climate, sunbath and the children can play here. The little pond with golden fish, fountain and the evening lighting create a friendly atmosphere.

Event facilities: The domed section room can seat 20-25 persons. Technical equipments: projector, video, overhead projector, flipchart, home movie system, TV, DVD and CD player, radio, telephone, fax and internet. On request they are also available for restaurant events.

Parking: The parking conditions are very strict in the downtown of Sopron. You can park max. 1 hour in front of the hotel (until you put in or take out your luggage). We can provide parking facility in our underground garage located behind the hotel.

The given prices in the table include the breakfast. The local tourist tax is 340,- HUF/person/night and has to be paid by guets from the age of 18.

Children reductions:

- Under 6 years in the parents' room the accomodation with breakfast is free of charge. Babycot upon request.
- 6-12 years we give 50% discount.
- Children over the age of 12 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 2 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (Easter, Whitsun, Formula 1 GP, New Year’s, etc.).
