The four-star MenDan Thermal Hotel & Aqualand is situated in the center of Zalakaros, directly in the vicinity of the city spa.
Accomodation: The wellness and spa hotel awaits those who wish to relax and recover with 111 superior, 16 luxury superior, 3 de luxe rooms, 15 exclusive apartments and 14 junior suites. We recommend the superior rooms, the apartments and the junior suites also for families. Every room is air-conditioned and equipped with bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, large-size bio bed, plasma TV, movie channel, telephone, safe, internet connection and minibar. On previous request we provide non-smoking rooms and specially built rooms for disabled people.

- Exclusive apartment (max. 2+2 persons): 2 room (bedroom and living room), a leather fold out sofa bed for two persons and a tea kitchenett.
- Junior suite (max. 2+3 persons): a bedroom and a living room area, in total 2 double beds and a leather fold out sofa bed for 1 person .
For our guests arriving with small children we provide babycot, baby dresser, bathtub for children (with stanchion), potty, trainer seat and small stool (to reach the lavatory) and microwave oven and water boiler in limited number.
Animals (dog, cat) can be brought only into the apartments!
Further children and family friendly services: Playing room, secret corridor from the Middle Ages from which you can get into the world of tales. Slide, swing, Barbie-empire, Lego world. Further adventures leaded by our animators: making friendship bracelet, drawing competition, quiz games, board game, doll making, decoupage, beading, tale morning, making of a plaster figure.
Gastronomy: The offer of the Zafír and Coral restaurants of the hotel consists of the spicy and exotic masterpieces of the Hungarian and other nations following the latest trends. We try to satisfly also the special neccesarities so we can serve also those guests who need special diet, water cure or they have flour or milk allergy. You can also find the offer of the cuisine in the Aqua Pool bar where we await our guests with roasted meals. You can also find different sandwiches and pasteries here like in the offer of our Smaragd Café.
Aqualand Bath magic-spa & wellness: The spa complex of our wellness hotel offers full recreation and entertainment for the whole family.
- Aqualand Spa & Wellness: Our pools have a water surface of 300 sqm. Swimming pool (26-28°C), adventure bath with water attractions (33°C), pool with thermal water (36-38°C), jacuzzi. You can rest and enjoy the sunshine on the sunbathing and panorama terrace from spring to autumn. We offer different relaxing massages.
- Sauna park: Saunas (cabins with swimming dress and without swimming dress), steam bath, bio sauna, sauna showers.
- Adventure showers: Scottish, tropical and heal showers with different sound and light effects.
- Wellness & Beauty Istitute: Beauty salon, face treatments for ladies and gentlemens, hairdresser’s salon, manicure-pedicure, solariums.
Event facilities: The banquett rooms of the hotel can be perfect venues of conferences, trainigs, meetings, presentations and family and friends reunions. Their maximal capicity in theatre seating style: Nagyterem 450 persons, Achát 180 persons, Türkiz 140 persons, Jade 100 persons, Szekció 30 persons. Some of the rooms are intercommunicated so they are suitable to organize larger events.
Parking: The guarded parking place in front of the hotel is at the guests’ disposal (about 800,- HUF/car/day).
