Somogy Garden holiday village - Bonnya

The village of Bonnya where you can find the Somogy Kertje Holiday village, is situated only 30 km from the southern part of the Balaton and Kaposvár. The silent, small village is an ideal place for active relaxation. Here the village preserving the romantic atmosphere of the last times connects harmonically to the holiday resort providing modern convenience, which awaits its guests with family atmosphere and personalized services.

Accommodation: In the 8 building of the holiday village in total 36 comfortable double rooms and apartments await the guests (max. 84 persons). They are equipped with bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, TV, minibar, safe and water boiler and the majority of them is air-conditioned with optional extra bed. Our guests can use several rooms (standard of 13-15 m2, comfort of 16-18 m2, mansion of 18-20 m2) or the pair rooms (apartments) with common closed hall. The living rooms, the dining rooms and the kitchen are common areas which anybody of our guests can use on previous request. Larger families, group of friends can also rent a whole house or houses.

Guest houses:

- Nagyház (Large House): The building , a kind of mansion, adapting to environmental circumstances, has two floors on one side and one on the other. There are 5 double-bed rooms in the loft, 2 apartments with two rooms , a dining room and a cosy living room on the first floor, and 2 double room on the ground floor. Our guests can also find here the two restaurants of the wine bar which can be ideal venues of small or private events. There is a beautiful view over the landscape and the browsing horses from the porch.

- Kisház (Small house): Its a building of 120 m2, a kind of family house which has 2 double-bed rooms-the Borzaskata and the Szépasszonyszőlője-, a cosy living room, a dining room with oven and a small kitchen. You can rent the full Kisház or only one room in it. The massage room opens from the porch of the Kisház.

- Lencsésház (Lent House): You can find 2 double-bed rooms- Blue-yellow and Green- and 1 apartment with 2 rooms-Mauve. There is a beautiful view from the patio built on the courtyard.

- Színesház (Coloured house): The coloured wooden porch and patio of the renovated adobe house attract the attention. Its 4 rooms open from the porch and we heat them with tiled stoves. You can grill or cook in stew-pot on its courtyard or choose the right horse for you in the stable.

- Panniház (Panni house): A renovated house with wooden porch and 3 rooms. You can make the fire in the fire place if you want but anyway our colleagues do it.

- Pusztai ház (Lowland house): A renovated house with wooden porch and 3 rooms. All rooms open from the porch.

The rooms of different categories are diverse from each other in their sizes. The standard rooms have an area of 12-15 m2, the comfort rooms have an area of 15-18 m2, the mansion rooms have an area of 18-22 m2.

Dining: cooking is only available in two houses (Kisház and Színesház), because there is an a'la carte restaurant in the central building which host also the guests. The spacious space on the ground floor of our restaurant which is open all year around, is suitable for larger groups and its gallery is suitable for chats, large terrace and garden offer a perfect place for grill and stew-pot parties. The kitchen can host also larger events. The restaurant can also be suitable for reunions of 120-200 persons. We bake roasts, cakes and Bonnyhai ring cake for our gourmet guests. There is a wine bar with 2 halls under the Nagyház. If our guests plan all day excursions, we can also prepare some food on request.

Relaxation and event facilities: An outdoor swimming pool (5x10m), a Jacuzzi with hot water operating also in winter, Scandinavian sauna, massage ( sole, Swedish, medicinal, lymph), Bioptron light therapy, fitness room, stable, sheepfold, cross-country riding, tennis court, beach volley court, play ground, cooking in stew-pot, baking in an oven and handcraft activities are at the guests’ disposal.

The surrounding forest and hilly landscape offer pleasant experience for those who like riding bicycle or trekking or having picnic. From spring to autumn you can enjoy the beauty of the Somogy landscape on horse-back or in horse carriage, in winter on horse sledge.

There are 6 training and conference halls in the Somogy Kertje Holiday Resort: 2 for 20 persons(Nagyház Borozó internal hall and Kisház living room), 2 for 30 persons (Nagyház Borozó and Biliard hall in the central building), 1 for 70 persons (Training hall in the central building), 1 for 150 persons (restaurant depending on the furniture). You can use the Kemence Kiülő for 60 persons and the 20-person terrace of the Nagyház. The terrace and the garden of the restaurant are suitable to host several hundred people. There are facilities for cooking in stew-pot or grill in every houses.

Play court for adults: It’s an area of 1,5 hectare where there are a covered stage, food bar, places for grill parties, tennis court, swinging bridge over the moat, castle, bear den, and other imitational establishments as place of execution and tower, etc. which we use up during the organised team building events.

Activities on the area: Sport competitions, parlour game with live pieces, different quizzes, Paint Ball, concerts, theatre performances- for example interactive performances. In case of these programs the area can host about 500-600 people.

Parking: To the houses and the restaurant belong separate parking places which can be used for free by the guests.
