The three-star Hotel Walden welcomes its guests in one of the most beautiful parts of the Pilis Mountain, in Dobogókő, on its 2nd highest point (700 m). It's only 35 km away from Budapest and 18 km away from Esztergom.

Accommodation: The hotel has 34 double rooms and 8 apartments which are suitable also for families. They are equipped with bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, TV, telephone and free WiFi internet. The rooms and the apartments located on the 1st floor have also balcony. On previous request we can provide rooms (3) and apartments (2) for disabled people.

ATTENTION!: All rooms and apartments in the Hotel Walden are non-smoking!
Baby-friendly services (upon request): cot, baby bottle and baby food heater, baby trainer seat, changing table, bathtub for babies, playing corner and baby sitting with qualified kindergarten teacher, child bike, seat and helmet. High chair and menu for children are available in the restaurant.

During your travel you don’t have to leave your pet (small dog, cat, etc.) at home. They are welcome in the guest’s room at a charge of pet supplement. Please indicate when you arrive with your pet.

Dining: You can also find the traditional Hungarian and the international dishes in the offer of our a'la carte restaurant. From spring to autumn – in case of good weather - you can have the selected delicacies in our garden or on the grill terrace. On previous request we provide half or full board and special dietetic menus. On every Sunday we offer Sunday Brunch buffet lunch, which costs 2.800,- HUF/person/occasion.

Relaxation, recreation: Our guests can use the Finnish and infrared saunas and the fitness machines (bicycle, running machine) for free of charge. On previous request massage is also available. You can relax in the well-kept private garden of the hotel and enjoy the fresh forest air.

Those who are looking for active recreation can play tennis on the red clay courts or they can discover the tourist paths of the surrounding area. We recommend to visit the two lookout points of Dobogókő, which rae only 10-20 minutes on foot. From there you can see the beautiful panorama of the Danube Bend and in case of good weather the Tátra mountain. Our guests who have more experience, can also reach the Holdvilág ditch, the Lajos stream, the Prédikálószék or the Rám Gorge (Rám szakadék). In winter Dobogókő offers also perfect place for skiing and sledging.

Event facilities: The 200-person air-conditioned conference hall (it can be divided into 2 parts by mobile walls) and the other 6 smaller section rooms (10-60 persons) of the hotel can be the ideal venues of conferences, trainings, weddings and other family or company events.

Parking: Our guests arriving by car can use the closed parking place of the hotel for free of charge.

The given prices in the table include the buffet breakfast and the use of the infra and Finnish sauna, WiFi internet, internet corner, closed parking. The local tourist tax is 400,- HUF/person/night and has to be paid by guets from the age of 18.

Children reductions:

- Under 6 years in the parents' room the accomodation with breakfast is free of charge. Babycot upon request.
- 6-12 years we give 50% discount.
- Children over the age of 12 pay the full price.

Cancellation policy:

- Cancellation must be in writing, by either e-mail or fax.
- In case of individual booking penalty free cancellation is 2 days prior to arrival until 2 p.m, local time. In case of later cancellation or no show 1 night costs per room has to be paid.
- Special cancellation policy is used in case of booking of 3 or more rooms, booking for more than 7 nights, and for special periods, long feast periods/weekends (15. March, Easter, 1. May, Whitsun, 20. Aug, 23. Okt, All saint's day, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.).
